I began working at Whittam Cox Architects at the end of May this year. I'm really enjoying everything new that is being thrown my way in what I feel is a really progressive and collaborative environment.
I have just finished and graduated with a Part 1 architecture degree from the University of Lincoln. Since finishing my degree I have been working at Whittam Cox. Outside of the work environment I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, being creative through the media of music when playing my flute and really enjoy cross stitch, both of these help me really relax.

In response to the Covid-19 Pandemic there has been an exponential amplification of fake news produced as the physical world was unplugged. This removal of the tangible allowed for the virtual to overtake. Since the commencement of the digital age this digital outbreak has been predicted, but it has occurred in an unconstrained manner allowing the manipulation of the information leading to this fake news epidemic.
As this is now a platform that is accessible to everyone the media process has adopted this method. However, the danger of using this method is that it allows the information to be tampered with removing the informations source stripping it of its legitimacy.
This industry has a private process but there is a strikingly pubic output. Currently there is no interaction or debate within this process especially with the public, it is purely a projection of information that persuades the user to believe a specific perspective and whether this is fact or fiction is irrelevant.
This has resulted in this project envisioning a broadcasting facility that is an interactive journey to engage its user to decrease the fake news
epidemic and produce a type of media that isn’t purely a projection, allowing people to view behind the screen.
