I feel that working at Whittam Cox allows me the opportunity to fulfil my passions in a commercial lead way.

I'm Marcus and I currently work in the retail team at Whittam Cox. I am studying at Sheffield Hallam University and have just finished my fifth year. I am a keen hiker and enjoy walking in the Lake and Peak District National Parks. This keen interest in the outdoors also manifests itself in my passion for all things sustainable. Be it sustainable design, sustainable transport methods or pro-environment politics. I enjoy working at Whittam Cox Architects, and really value the activities outside of work be it socials or celebrations of key dates throughout the year.

The course theme is inclusion and exclusion. This is the guiding principle of the project to stop
people being excluded from the accessible green infrastructure. The scheme I produced is to
transforming Skyedge view forest into a step free accessible community allotment, which would
be run by the charity group Incredible Edible. A hubs space will be cleared at the top of the hill.
The Hubs include a Coffee shop, a Education Space and a planting supplies shop. These three
units will be constructed in CLT in a A-frame configuration. Planters will be placed next to the
community library and snake along a gravel path up to the hubs.
