My exploration of this brief was based on 4 key concepts:

- Light, how the site changes throughout the day and year. How is it affected by sun and shade?

- Key Paths, what are the key routes in the area? How can people be directed through the space and encouraged to participate?

 

- Topography, the challenging topography provided interesting opportunity to explore hierarchy of spaces.

- Assembly, I explored levels of formality of assembly and allowed it to influence the layout of the building.
