I began working at Whittam Cox in 2019 after graduating with a Part 1 Architecture Degree from Northumbria University.
I am now enrolled on the MArch Apprenticeship at Sheffield Hallam University, where I am about to start my final year of the Masters. I am currently working on a new motorway service station for one of the UK’s leading operators; a fantastic and challenging project to be involved in. The scheme seeks to deliver modern, efficient and exemplary architecture which both suits operational requirements but also provides a respectful aesthetic to the natural surrounding countryside; blending built forms within the landscape to reimagine the spatial and visual impacts of motorway service stations. Outside of work I enjoy socialising with friends, walking in the Peak District and watching rugby.

High Streets are significant social territories, promoting community, employment and valuable cultural exchange. Their prosperity however has been in decline since the inception of the internet age; forcing shop closures and high street buildings to become under-utilised, under-appreciated and disconnected.
In order to address the issues facing Duke Street, this project extends beyond preservation; seeking to reimagine the use and perceptions of the High Street for society. 213/215 Duke Street (a former painting and decorating shop) is retrofitted to become the flagship building for the project – a shared space that encourages experimentation through intergenerational art: a testing space implementing strategies to develop an inclusive high street.
