An eco-discovery and interactive learning centre.
I have just completed my undergraduate degree in Architecture at Northumbria University in Newcastle. Since then, I have moved back to Sheffield to work at Whittam Cox Architects whilst hopefully starting the Degree Apprenticeship at Sheffield Hallam University in September. I am interested in the regeneration of sites and buildings to better improve the space for public use as well as promote ecological enhancement of the environment. I find working the past memory of a place and area into the design of new buildings using unique, interesting design features is a fascinating part of architectural design. Outside of work I enjoy dog walks and spending time with my friends as well as doing different crafts and painting.

The River Revival Hub is an eco-discovery & interactive learning centre on the redeveloped site of the former Wallsend Slipway, a partly derelict post-industrial and manufacturing site in Newcastle. Made up of clusters of buildings that form a visitors discovery centre focused on the local ecology and set within naturally landscaped public grounds made accessible by a series of curved walkways and paths.
