Challenge the standard of future homes by introducing radical ways of living together.
I am currently enrolled on the Level 7 Architectural Apprenticeship degree at the University of Nottingham and just completed my second year of part II. I have always been very passionate about experimenting with sustainable organic forms that break the standard norm of design and resolving the structural and technical challenges that arise from them. Outside of Architecture, I enjoy producing graphic illustrations, sports, cooking and engaging in outdoor activities in nature.

The residential project is part of a wider masterplan scheme in the Meadows, Nottingham that aims to enhance the neighbourhood to create a contemporary community that is inclusive for various user clients. The renovation consists of two townhouses to be refurbished into multi-generational housing to provide a flexible home for extended families who want to live together whilst maintaining a degree of mutual independence. The other two renovated townhouses intend to improve the conditions of the current houses for the existing families by efficiently expanding the internal spaces and improving the performance of the shell whilst maintaining most of the existing structure. Additionally, an apartment block is proposed to replace 9 townhouses to create social spaces to encourage collaboration and engagement between residents.
