Whittam Cox Architects have supported me through the apprenticeship degree route in architecture as well as provided me with valuable experience on fantastic projects within my team.
I started four years ago at Whittam Cox Architects and have just finished my Year 6 of Part 2 MArch course at Sheffield Hallam University. Over the time on the course, I have developed an interest in an area of making and how this can be used as a tool to bring a community together. Another interest which has heavily influenced my 6th year thesis project is dementia and the idea of inclusive design which helps people feel integrated into their own urban environment. Outside of architecture my hobbies include running, football, travelling and making stuff.

The purpose of this thesis project is to create a design which is inclusive for people suffering with dementia in activities and the local community. The intervention will be part of a wider project which aims to provide a platform for the local community to grow and develop their urban environment. In achieving this outcome this project will also have a focus
on prefabrication and alternative ways of building structures.
